The shiny coating enhances the colours and improves contrast, giving deeper black shades and better sharpness. Glossy printer paper is the preferred option for professional quality prints.
Semi-gloss paper and its advantages
We stock Canon semi-gloss paper in 4x6 inch size, suitable for different types of photographic and image prints. The texture of semi-gloss printer paper is in between matte and glossy and it also reduces glare, which is common in glossy paper. The prints on semi-gloss paper are vibrant though to a lesser extent than glossy paper.
